I know that my progress rate fluctuates every now and then, but I'm pretty sure I'll have this done within 2-3 months. I'll release what I have near the beginning of October if by some off chance I don't.

Still should be done around the beginning of October, assuming that there's no errors when I compile everything. I've already tried a pre-edit patch, and it works so far. The other bugs will still remain though. There probably will be some game crashing bugs due to syntax errors that I might not catch, but I can easily fix those when the time comes. The only big issue I see is the backlog character cut off limit since it's annoying when you can't scroll back, but I can't do much about that.

In actuality, I should be releasing this in a week or so but one of my editors is busy with real life stuffs, and the other one isn't done with his part yet so I'm going over them myself.

Hmm, it's been about three years since the Canvas 2 translation project began. I'm glad to hear that it's almost complete. So if a translation patch will be available in October 2010, then I might be willing to purchase the original game disc, whichever version is compatible. (Amazon.co.jp currently lists the DVD-ROM for Windows at 5,760 yen. So I'll decide if I'll pay Himeya prices, or try to use Yahoo Auction Japan shopping services.)
