Default How to pack .xp3 files?

I need some help with this ;_;
Whenever I try packing a .xp3 file with kirikiri, I always get an error message. When I try insani tools, nothing happens.
I don't mean to sound like a total n00b, but what do I do?

Try that. http://tsukuru.info/tlwiki/index.php?title=File:Kikiriki.rar
Create a shortcut to the exe, and write it in the 'target' part:

"C:\toolfolder\kikiriki.exe" -c -i C:\thingsyouwanttopack -o patch.xp3

Try this. http://ever17.narod.ru/download/xp3_tool.7z
Create a batch file with the following contents, place it along with the tool and run:

Quote:
@echo off
xp3_tool patch.xp3 * source -make 1
Run the tool without parameters for help. ^_^

P.S. My tool weight only 140 kb, works with both old and new XP3 modifications and understands unicode. I.e. no locale needed. :3

Oh, yeah one more question, how do you word wrap in Kirikiri? some words get messed up when they hit the edge of the text box. It'll go like this

[Hello, everyone! We are going to be on Ear
th in 5 minutes!]

See, Earth gets cut off.

There are two ways to do this; one is to use insani's word-wrapping method (http://www.insani.org/tools/), and one is to use Nagato's word-wrapping method (http://amaterasu.is.moelicious.be/blog/?p=156).

Suzumiyaandy, use Nagato's method. It's FAR easier, safer and better. I've used it in the Russian translation project of Aozora Gakko no Sensei-kun, and everything worked fine, and the scripts' readability wasn't destroyed by (shitty) word-wrapping tags.

See, that's the complaint I don't get. I agree that insani's method is more cumbersome and is not as elegant as Nagato's. However, why would you ever be reading the output of insani's script anyway? This is equivalent to complaining that you can't read binary script files generated by some inserter for some other game engine. It's not that hard to set up a script/batch file that automatically takes new files and builds a patch.xp3 (or copies the individual output files into the right directories) and then starts the game with it.

zalas, you see... some people are reading, editing or retranslating other people scripts. Aside that, [wrap text] tags are just suck and making the script files to grow in size and produce unpredictable errors and broken output. More than that, they aren't suitable for every locale. Aside that, insani's method is as shitty as their outdated tools. Period.

They wouldn't be doing that with the PROCESSED scripts though.

You can find the code here.

You have to edit ONLY the file "MainWindow.tjs". See the file in attachment to understand where you have to copy the lines of code you see in the link above.
