Default HGAME onomatopoeias

Coming across はあはあ・・・ and not being able to think of the English onomatopoeia for heavy breathing made me wonder...

What are some of the more general onomatopoeias in English during those 18禁 scenes?

I'm not sure we have them, really...

You could try getting hold of some translated or OEL hentai manga and see what they use. For free, there's always Sexy Losers (no link due to excessive adult content), which is the webcomic that popularised "fap fap". ^_^

I wonder if in English, authors decided to go more the descriptive route for emotions and actions rather than the onomaetopea(sp?) approach... So instead of just putting in an onomaetopea for *silence*, they'd just say: "The tumbleweeds rolled by, and not a thing stirred."

How about our friend the ellipsis.

Outside of video games, I haven't really seen widespread usage of the ellipsis to denote silence. It seems to be used much more for trailing off, etc.

'Tis true, English writing tends to tell where Japanese shows.
English idiom - They both fell silent.
Japanese idiom - 「・・・・・・・・・」 「・・・・・・・・・」

One could draw parallels with reported speech:
English idiom - He said he didn't think she'd be there.
Japanese idiom - 「彼女ならいないだろう」と言った。

But as for how one applies that to H scenes...
Japanese idiom - ・・・・・・っ、んふ・・・く、あはぁ・・・!あ、ああ、ひ、ひぐぁ・・・っ・・・ふぁあ、ああ、ぁあ、あ!
English idiom - Short and sharp and finished like an animal?

That reminds me of a certain scene from Austin Powers 3 ...

なんという例だ(笑)

Peachprincess often uses PANT PANT, for what it is worth.
