Default Narcissu 2 on mac?

Will Narcissu 2, when translation is done, also be on the mac?
I just picked one up today, and I'm having separation anxiety with my programs ^^;;;

Shouldnt it?
Ponscripter is also available for Mac.

If for some disaster, it is not distributed as a Mac package, you should be able to make one ;)

If, eventually, ever, translation is done...

Just when you start to think there isn't a computer more overpriced than a Dell...

But hey, I got one too! (after first being exposed to the brand through an Ipod Shuffle gift, then a bigger Ipod).

And I was starting to be convinced there is no need for branded computers once you learn how to build your own machine...

In any case, shouldn't all Apples have Intel processors by now? You should be able to install Bootcamp (included in your Leopard DVD) and install XP on another partition. (In my case, though, I had to reinstall OSX because I practically had to subdivide the harddrive, so better reinstall earlier than later when you start piling up more crap on your hard disk).

In short, yes, there's an OSX build... as well as general linux... I think there was an rpm or deb packager in the build script... and I've used the freebsd version myself... <_< and I heard it built on solaris... Plus there'll be one surprise platform that'll be ready around the same time.

WEll, Insani got Alltogether going again. Its not impossible, just these guys have jobs to do.
I might jump into translation in college as well. ;)

I like apple's mac alot now. THe Macbook pro is pretty awesome. (I souped it up ALL the way for 15 inches)
The only problem I am having, is with the XP SP1a CD I have. I'm using the dell reinstall CD. I'm going to see if I can get a vista for cheaper than an XP Pro for $140 on newegg.
Or maybe even windows 7.... Hm...

And yes! Thats means I don't have to worry about missing out on it :3

Many xNscripter games can be ran simply by throwing ONScripter.app into the main folder for the windows version.

I do this for Higurashi and Bye and it runs wonderfully :)

Clannad is not an nscripter game. It uses reallive, like everything else by visualart's nowadays.

For Real Live (Clannad, Kanon)
Try using http://eglaysher.github.com/rlvm/
But Kanon works with wine, too. (Did not check clannad)

The original non-voice version (with voice patch) works with wine, but the full voice version does not.

And by that I mean Clannad, of course.

Wine on Intel Macs seems to be pretty much impossible for the nonprogrammer. I've tried Darwine but it can't even run the Wine test apps.

RLVM (mentioned above) works beautifully with Kanon (unvoiced). On a quick run, Clannad (classic unvoiced) seems to work perfectly (below). It does not run Tomoyo After.

Clannad on a Intel mac:

For xNScripter games the Mac builds from the likes of insani run fine as supplied. For games with only Windows builds you need to add ONScripter-EN.app

Windows XP is a great investment for an Intel Mac owner. Its a bit hard to find now but the convenience validates the effort. Since you want to run games and such I wouldn't bother with buying a virtual machine program because the speed loss isn't worth the time saved by not rebooting.

Yeah, but aren't the 'games' we're running visual novels? I'm personally fond of the VM method because I don't like to dual-boot =p
