Is there such a thing as an online visual novel? Something that allows you to meet real people? Would you play it if there was?

There was one non-Japanese project that presented itself as an 'online visual novel', but it was practically two separate games, a visual novel and a browser game. Other than that, there haven't been any yet.

Omegle is entirely different. You won't be able to "chat". Your character will talk for you based on your decisions.

VDZ, you're right about Sentou(?) Gakuen. Would YOU play a truly online visual novel? One where different arcs could lead to different types of actual people? Do you know anyone who might? Answer this for me and we might see this type of game in the market by the end of the year.

Sentou Gakuen (戦闘学園?, lit. Combat School) is a visual novel developed and published by PST Team, a small indie developer team based in Indonesia. Sentou Gakuen has twice undergone testings, on October 16 and 24, 2011[1] and Open Beta on December 29, 2011.[2] The game was released on January 1, 2012 as a web browser game.[3] The game is described by the development team as a combination between Visual novel and MMORPG which has never been made before.[4]
