Minimoto "Those fools who say that love is shameful are just gutless bastards with no determination! Listen well, the thing called love, and loving a person is..."

this line isn't about something as nice as "faith" btw, if all the dirty, heavy imagery didn't give you a clue
It is actually about faith. She is saying that a lover is somebody that no matter the circumstances, you can trust. Well, put into context anyways.

Also, none of those are command-form ending, they're all linked together.

So perhaps, "Someone I can just have faith in, even if I threw everything away, grew covered in dirt, crawled along the ground, and no matter how heavily I weighed upon them." with some adjustment for relative context.

Sorry this was all I could get. Someone will need to correct me.

Minimoto I explain it by... my mistake? I guess I screwed that up but still the same problem remains for me.
2010-09-28 21:21
Hopeful Death Then how do you explain this

Yep, I'm sure that what I put up is directly from the game.

Minimoto Btw, there is this one annoying to translate line. I'm not quite sure how this would be put out but anyways...

Jibun no subete wo nagesute (Throw yourself away), doro ni mamire (Be covered in mud), jimen wo haizurimawattemo (Crawl around on the ground),
doredake omoku no (shikakaatemo) (Can't seem to get this word down), tada shinjiteirareru dake no aite (Simply somebody you can trust).

自分の全てを投げ捨て、泥にまみれ、地面をはいずり回っても、どれだけ重くのしかっても、ただ信じていられるだけの相手

I know most of the terms by themselves, but together... what does it mean? It's like... I get the basic meaning but what would the complete literal translation of it all be?
