...I give in. What is it?

I know what it is.

Sometimes, people make crystal laser-made images inside blocks of glass. It's like a hollow out of a statue.

That one is of Misuzu, and the Air logo's in there.

WOW! Any chance on getting that without flying to Tokyo? O_O

I second Message's question; It'd be worth missing Kawaii Kon to get my hands on that.

Yahoo Japan? I don't think you'll be able to get it overseas any other way... :/

Lasered block of glass << my dad has a portrait of himself, just like this, and it was made in Muscat.

Well, let's say that you can custom-make it to anything you want at some places.

They also sell bases for laser glass blocks that shine light through them. This allows your laser glass block to continously change colors, or stay a color of your choice ^^ (its actually quiet pretty!).

Just my luck. And how about this:
Should you have a specific 3D need our staff can determine this cost based on it's detail and complexity, the typical cost for a mode can range from $50 to $300.
Phew, not cheap - the complexity of the Air collectable up there would probably hit the $200-$300 range. And I imagine getting a 3D model of Misuzu to be... Challenging. ^_^v

Well...that seems a tad expensive...$200-$300 for a laser glass block of Misuzu...-.-"

The orgy of merchandising surrounding Air knows no bounds, with a series of drama CDs scheduled for next month. Somewhat disappointingly, it'll just be a fairly straightforward retelling of the respective heroines' stories (albeit with some new content), rather than a series of original short stories like the much-beloved Minase-san-chi.

Streaming sample tracks, too. What more could a man want?

(Other than Tohno-san-no-eki, obviously.)

The Minagi CD is so going to be boarding a plane for England within minutes of release. :D

... If it was Revvie, you couldn't stop me from buying it.
....
I'd still buy it anyways.

Still don't get why these laser blocks are so popular, but if I can resist getting the Ayu-Mayu set from KGNE, I can resist these.
...ok, I'll give, put me down for a Revvie one too ^_^;;

now how to convince Key that Revvie is indeed more popular than Misuzu so that will get to work on it for us...

What, no Gao Gao Stegasaurus t-shirt? Insani could license their Cafepress design and make millions!
"Well, seeing as you Key merchandising guys dropped the ball, and we already had the design out there... we'll let you sell it for us, alright?"

I wonder how easy it would be to get one's hands on one of those mug designs, or maybe one of the t-shirts? I really like the plain white tee with the Air logo on it.

And there's the Potato plushie for all his fans!

I believe there was a mail order offer in Animage or some magazine for ~4000 yen for the gao gao shirt.
Yup, found it.
It's in the February 2005 Animage.
Orders had to be in by February 9th
And they started shipping end of May.
The price was 4000 yen and there was a little slip you had to cut out of the magazine to mail in.
I like how they introduced it:
"And up first is a year's supply of 'Rich and Gooey, Peach Flavor' --- not. It's actually the 'SUTEGO' T-shirt that will be making an appearance in the Jan 13th airing of episode 2 of AIR."

Speaking of sharp clothing, it seems KyoAni's finally caved into fan pressure [?] and blessed us with a 国崎最高 shirt.
