Yes. It will be out.
As an after story of Clannad game.
The game will also contain some kind of RPG element too.

Characters and their design of 18禁 Clannad will be same as the current Clannad, but Key's famous artist, Hinoue Itaru WILL NOT be drawing the CGs this time. Possible new artist candidates are Goto P. and Komatsu Eji.

Key will be releasing official statement about this game soon I heard.

You know KEY could leave those cute characters to be undefiled XD.. (j/k)

But on a more serious note, since Key actually decided to make this version adult, it was their choice this time around. So does that mean we might actually seem some better quality writing in those H-Scenes?

I do know that Komatsu has a H-art experience, but Goto P.?

Not to rain on everyone's parade, but with respect, this seems a little more than doubtful to me for the following reasons:

1. It represents a complete about-face in philosophy from Key regarding Clannad. With the 4 years they had, surely they would have included H if that were the idea.

2. There aren't any new pictures. The Tomoyo pictures on the site are from Tomoyo's After Story (Battle Girl, IIRC), written by Maeda and running in G's 「CLANNAD -クラナド- 光見守る坂道で」 (similar stories also exist for Kotomi and Sunohara/Kyou), with art by Goto-P.

3. It seems unlikely that Moon Phase and the other regular sites wouldn't have picked it up if the news had come from a major and reliable source.

Perhaps there's just been some chinese whispering of the magazine's contents?

P.S: Yes, Goto-P has H-experience. Check his doujinshi =P

For reference, I've uploaded a couple of pictures from the publication in question:

EDIT: Argh, stupid links.

I do know that Tomoyo picture on that site is from After story. =P
That picture was posted because they just wanted to show it as an example of Goto P's art.

Well we will see what will really happen. According to that site, New clannad game article was published on april volume of magazine "Conptic" (spelling?)

Since that Korean site that I read is also saying that they will wait for further news.

Isn't that Goto P.'s drawing?

Yep, Goto-P draws and Maeda writes [for G's magazine], but it's really little more than a few pages every month; well short of a full blown game. Sadly, from all reports, the Tomoyo after story was apparently kind of disappointing.

As for Comptiq (http://www.comptiq.com/), I suppose we'll have to wait and see as the news trickles (or floods, as the case may well be) in. It wouldn't be the first time they got the scoop well before official channels, and I'd certainly accept it as credible if it ran over there.

P.S: I imagine that any hypothetical no-pan Clannad would cause a small riot over in Akihabara =P

Ah, thanks for the tip.
The article claims that the source was none less than Maeda and Suzumoto, so you've certainly got me convinced =P

A few thoughts:

1. The 18+ element; you have to wonder just how necessary this is, but Maeda's made his case for it on more than one occasion before and we'll just have to live with it, if for nothing more than commercial reasons.

2. Itaru being replaced; not a complete shock, perhaps, given Planetarian, but it's certainly for the same franchise to jump artists, especially away from someone who has so strongly been associated with the Key identity.

3. The RPG elements; I'm not expecting Key's answer to Utawarerumono, but it's certainly a bold new direction for a company that's founded its reputation on writing.

4. The choice of Tomoyo. Nice story, popular with the fans, but you have to wonder if there's anything left to write about after her scenario. IMHO, if anything, it's her past that needs a bit more elaboration.

All in all, it looks to be more of a fun (and ecchi) romp through the Clannad world rather than the tragedy/drama that Key is better known for. Show us what you can do, Maeda-san! =P

An interesting quote from the Visual Fan Book that I stole off 2ch:
[Possible spoilers in the span translation]

A clue to the plot of the After Story, perhaps?

Clannad H makes me excited.I second that. or at the very lest a version with fanservice in it
I honestly don't know why.you need to be more honest with you inner chaild :)

any way, an RPG version??!!.... that doesn't feel right for key. They might be trying to expand their market by trying to test a new set of games. And to be safe they wish to depend on the Clannad fanbase to bale themout if they fail in their first RPG game.

would there be any fighting in this RPG?! (ie. something like Izumo or Dual Savior)

Can you imagine a game involving Tomoyo that didn't have fighting? ;)

You can't be telling me you don't want to see a ☆遣い vs. エロ生徒会長 matchup =P

Well, Clannad isn't in quite the same class as Kanon or Air when it comes to popularity and fanbase. On the other hand, I guess that makes it 'expendable'. If they really wanted to exploit a group of hardcore fans, I suppose we'd be seeing something along the lines of 「マジカル☆さゆりんと舞ちゃんの魔物退治戦記」.

At any rate, indications only point to a game 'with RPG elements' at this point, although a full-blown Clannad RPG certainly does have potential, what with a such large cast and all. Something along the lines of Maple Colors (http://www.cross-net.co.jp/mcs/) would be fantastic.

64HITチェーンコンポキタ━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━ッ!!

I imagine that baseball and laser tag will be making an appearance too, along with the obligatory Sunohara abuse.
