Hello all,

I have recently begun translating Biniku no Kaori (http://www.elf-game.co.jp/net_shop/soft/special/biniku/index.html).

The games engine is AI6WIN from elf.

Have run into a couple of hitches however..

I have extracted the scripts (at least I think they are) from a mes.arc file which I understand to be an archive. The files inside all contain various texts and references to ingame things such as sound files and voice.

I have yet to find a way to edit these suitably, and moreso to rebuild the .arc file to put back into the game. Any help would be amazing. Below is an image example of my translations and also a link to what I think is one of the scripts. There are 298 .MES files totally about 10.1mb.

Thats a translation group's name I had 6 years ago :) Besides - i'm gonna need help to get it translated. I also have my own business so I can actively fund the projects.

What do you mean by "fund" exactly? Just paying server costs, or paying people to (illegally) translate the game?

It means-

I pay server costs
Translators keep all donations, I get none
I provide you with whatever tools you need, cost irrelevant

Anyone its progressing nicely. If you find the patch illegal or ethically/morally wrong, then I suggest you don't download it, that's your right :)

I'm looking forward to the translation of this famous game.
I know little about Japanese so I can't help you.
Anyway, thanks for your efforts to translate the game.
