I unpacked xp3 files of Swan song

and I changed all document files into Unicode format.

You know krdevui.dll?

I can use 'data' folder instead of 'data.xp3' file if I have krdevui.dll.

When I run Swan song with krdevui.dll and 'data' folder, it worked

but I repack the folder into 'data.xp3' and run it, it doesn't work.

What is the problem?

The 2 cases are same in contents. T.T

I guess version of repacker that I use is

a little bit different with Swan song's xp3 file.

If not, what is problem?

Please help me~ T.T

After I repack it and run it,

the error message

"ANSI 文字列を UNICODE 文字列に変換できません。現在のコードページで解釈できない文字が含まれてます。正しいデータが指定されているかを確認してください。データが破損している可能性もあります"

appears.

But every .ks and .tjs files in the xp3 files are in Unicode format.

What is the problem? T.T

It's treating the text in those files as some sort of non-unicode text and trying to decode it into Unicode but failing because the code page doesn't have a translation for some characters.

There are different variants of Unicode, try in these order --

UTF-8 without BOM (byte order mark) (ANSI as UTF-8)
UTF-8
UCS-2 little endian
UTF-16

I don't that's worth *trying*. The only UNICODE that KiriKiri2 recognizes is UCS-2/UTF-16LE and that's for certain.

Wondering if you missed a file or two when converting the scripts. Or, you might want to change the exe to KiriKiri2's original one. It might have something to do with encyption plug-ins.

Then if it's UCS-2 maybe he should try that. My text editor recognized UCS-2, but won't allow me to choose it. It's likely that he may have saved in normal UTF-8 (with or without byte order mark).

Thank you everyone for help.

I solved the problem with using another version of kirikiri.exe file. *^^*
